At Magnum Waterfowl, we specialize in Incredible Alberta Guided Goose Hunts and Duck Hunts. Your owner-operators Tim Rose, Tim Capps and Tim Hankins are all professional waterfowl hunters that have 70+ years of experience in the waterfowl industry. Any of these three will be able to provide the quality of hunt that is sure to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Our camp is based out of the Peace River / Manning area of northern Alberta, Canada. This is approximately 5-6 hours north of Edmonton, Alberta. There is air service to Peace River where we can arrange for ground pick-up, and air service to Grand Prairie where you and your group can rent a car and complete the drive to our camp.
Tim Rose started Magnum Waterfowl back in 2002 where he booked the clients of Roy Thompson of Magnum Outfitters and helped with the everyday activities. He assisted Roy up until 2004 when he added Tim Capps to the Magnum Team and purchased the waterfowling rights from Roy and we are now the proud owners of Magnum Waterfowl. In 2006 Magnum Waterfowl expanded again. Tim Rose and Tim Capps partnered up with Tim Hankins of Tru-Tone Duck and Goose Calls. Tim Hankins calling ability and waterfowl hunting background is a great addition to the company. Clients will be pleasantly surprised this fall with the professionalism and quality of the overall hunting experience provided by the Tims’ at Magnum Waterfowl. At this time Magnum Waterfowl is experiencing an 85% return rate of clients which speaks for the quality of service that they are currently providing to their customers. Magnum Waterfowl is an active member of the Alberta Professional Outfitters Society (A.P.O.S.). Each hunter should have the assurance that their hunts are contracted and will be performed under the code of ethics set forth by A.P.O.S. This is a professional operation.
Magnum Waterfowl operates out of WMU 527- which includes approximately 2,000 square miles of prime duck and goose hunting farmland along the Peace River: Land Of The Giants! They also operate out of WMU 526 which includes prime duck hunting on Lac Cardinal. This is one of the larger lakes in WMU 526. Also if you are looking for more water hunting opportunities we offer WMU 544 which encompasses Lesser Slave Lake. Here is a huge body of water that will enable us to hunt any species of duck or goose and it is all over water. For those looking to hunt later season, huge flocks of ducks and snow geese mixed in with the specs and Canadas, WMU 124, 144, 150 and 151 should be your focus of interest. These 4 WMU’s of southern Alberta extend from just east of Brooks, Alberta all the way across to the Saskatchewan border.
