We hunt the WMU Areas that are colored in black. Below is a brief description of each WMU and what we hunt in that area.
WMUs 526 and 527
This area is truly The Land Of The Giants! This is also the area where our main camp is located. We start out here early in the season and continue to experience excellent success on daily bag limits of Giant Canadas, Greater Canadas as well as Speckle belly geese. We also have excellent field duck hunting in the evenings and early mornings. We hunt along the Peace River where these birds are roosting and have thousands upon thousands of acres of prime agricultural fields full of geese and ducks to hunt.
WMU 544
This area encompasses Lesser Slave Lake which is approx 300 square miles of prime waterfowl hunting on one lake. This is the area where we guide all of our duck and goose hunting water hunts. During this hunt, you can expect to hunt and take every species of diver duck and puddle duck that Alberta has to offer. We also have excellent success in hunting Canadas and speckle bellies over water. For the hunter who loves the water hunt this is a special treat!
WMUs 124, 144, 150 & 151
Later in the season as the northern regions start to freeze up and the birds move south, we too move with them into the area represented here. Since we have multiple WMUs that surround area 732 which is a military base and a refuge for the birds, you can expect a fantastic late season hunt for Canadas Specks and we even get into the snows later in the year down here. We also experience fantastic late season duck hunting in this area.
This area is also World Renound for its Upland Bird Hunting! For those who truly want a special upland combo hunt, this is the place for you. From three species of grouse to pheasants and huns, this area has it all! Be sure to ask about our upland hunts specifically when you contact us if this is up your alley!
